The app is empty when I open it
That is how it starts. Cheer Me Up holds quotes you choose yourself rather than a library of famous quotations, so the first thing to do is add some:
- Open the Folders tab and tap +.
- Give the folder a name, such as “courage”, and tap Create.
- Tap the folder, tap Add quote, type a line, tap Save.
- Go back to the Calendar tab — today now has a quote.
Why does the same quote stay there all day?
Each date is given one quote and keeps it. The line you see in the morning is the same one you see that evening, and yesterday still says what it said. Adding or editing quotes never reshuffles days you have already seen, and the same quote is never used two days in a row.
Can I keep different sets of quotes?
Yes — that is what folders are for. Create as many as you like and choose which one the calendar draws from. Each folder remembers its own assignments, so switching away and back does not change anything.
Does it sync between devices?
No. Everything is stored on the iPhone it was typed into. The app has no account and no server. If your iPhone backs up to iCloud or a computer, the app's data is included in that backup like any other app's.
How do I change the language?
The app follows your iPhone. To change it for this app only, open Settings, find Cheer Me Up, and choose Language. Your quotes are unaffected — they stay in whatever language you wrote them, and Chinese and English can sit in the same folder.

打开应用是空的
这是正常的。「给自己打气」收录的是你自己挑选的句子，而不是名人名言集， 所以第一步是添加内容：
- 打开分类标签，点+。
- 给分类起个名字，比如「勇气」，然后点创建。
- 点进这个分类，点添加语录，输入一句话，点保存。
- 回到日历标签——今天就有一句了。
为什么一整天都是同一句？
每个日期分到一句，之后就不再变。早上看到的那句，晚上回来还是它；昨天的 那句也还是原样。新增或修改语录都不会打乱已经看过的日子，同一句话也不会连着 两天出现。
可以放不同的几组语录吗？
可以，这正是分类的用途。想建多少个都行，再选定日历从哪一个里取。每个分类 各自记住自己的分配结果，来回切换不会改变任何内容。
会在多台设备之间同步吗？
不会。所有内容都保存在输入它的那台 iPhone 上。应用没有账号，也没有服务器。 如果你的 iPhone 备份到 iCloud 或电脑，应用的数据会像其他应用一样包含在备份中。
怎么切换语言？
应用跟随 iPhone 的语言设置。若只想改这一个应用，请打开「设置」，找到 「Cheer Me Up」，选择「语言」。你的语录不受影响——它们保持你写下时的语言， 中英文也可以放在同一个分类里。
